A Vision Forged in Gold: Introducing Aurum House Studios

A new chapter begins — and its pages are forged in gold.

Today, we’re proud to officially announce the launch of Aurum House Studios, a production company founded by two creative forces determined to shape stories that stand apart: Darrell Reese Jr. and Steve Almeida.

Partnership Rooted in Vision

Aurum House Studios is more than a production company — it’s the natural next step for two creators who have dedicated their lives to the craft of storytelling in all its forms.

Darrell Reese Jr. is an independent filmmaker from a small town in Mississippi whose work is defined by themes of redemption, betrayal, and finding one’s true self. Known for his authentic voice and relentless dedication, Darrell has built a reputation for crafting stories that feel raw, relatable, and unflinchingly honest. His films, like the upcoming The Foundation, are proof of what happens when you pour every ounce of yourself into your art.

Beside him stands Steve Almeida, a true multi-hyphenate. Steve is an author, entrepreneur, artist, podcaster, and creative spirit who has built a brand around helping others get things done and live boldly. Through his company, Autumn House Entertainment, and his book, House Rules: Survival Tips For Getting Sh!t Done: 50 Tips To Conquer Your To-Do List And Achieve Your Dreams, Steve has inspired countless people to organize their lives, chase their ideas, and turn them into reality. His Instagram, @___therealworld, is a window into his creative hustle and a testament to how he blends art, practicality, and purpose.

Together, Darrell and Steve are blending their unique strengths — Darrell’s cinematic storytelling and Steve’s vision-driven execution — into a single house built on gold: Aurum House Studios.

The Next Evolution

For Darrell and Steve, Aurum House Studios isn’t the start of something new — it’s the natural evolution of the work they’ve already done, taken to the next level. Their mission is simple but ambitious: to create films that break away from the predictable and the safe.

At Aurum House Studios, the goal is to build worlds, characters, and stories that reflect the complexities of life and the raw truths we all carry. Every project will be treated as a work of art — handled with care, driven by purpose, and brought to life with an unwavering commitment to authenticity.

The First Chapter: The Foundation

The studio’s first project, The Foundation, sets the tone for what’s to come. This short film — directed by Darrell — is a layered story rooted in betrayal, redemption, and the search for meaning. It’s a story that represents exactly what Aurum House Studios is about: taking real, human experiences and turning them into something powerful and cinematic.

And The Foundation is just that — a foundation. Multiple films are already in development under the Aurum House banner, with more announcements to come. Each project will continue to push boundaries and challenge both creators and audiences to see storytelling through a different lens.

A Vision Forged in Gold

The name Aurum — the Latin word for gold — is no accident. Darrell and Steve chose it to reflect the belief that stories, like gold, are forged under pressure, refined by fire, and crafted to last forever.

Their slogan says it all: “A Vision Forged In Gold.”

With Aurum House Studios, the vision is clear: build something that lasts — stories that endure, inspire, and leave an imprint long after the credits roll.
